**Senior External Auditor Role Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior External Auditor to join our Audit division. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in auditing to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and complete audit assignments for subsequent review by senior managers or partners
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and support
  • Manage audit fieldwork and provide direction to junior staff members
  • Ensure that audits are completed within time and budgetary requirements
  • Collaborate with senior managers or partners on special assignments and reports
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to work autonomously with high levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate initiative and sound judgement in decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and with clients
  • In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
  • Experience in managing and reviewing small engagement teams
  • Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable legislation
