Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Maxlife Care. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of revenue recognition and billing processes.

About the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing using PRODA, PACE, and Xero accounting systems while monitoring outstanding receivables. You will also reconcile billing discrepancies as needed, including reviewing funding management levels. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, including NDIS financial guidelines, and participate in NDIS or financial audits as required. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you review and verify the accuracy of revenue and billing data, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies. Finally, you will analyze revenue and billing trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend process enhancements. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue accounting, billing, accounts receivable, or similar roles. Strong knowledge of NDIS financial regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements is preferred but not mandatory. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, PRODA, PACE), as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams are essential, as well as self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. CPA/CA certification or progress toward CPA/CA eligibility is a plus.
