We are seeking a skilled Florist to join our team on a casual ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality customer service, floral ranges and flower arrangements for customers. Recent graduates of floristry training or current floristry students are encouraged to apply.

Located in Kellyville Grove, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Wrapping of mixed and single floral bunches (small and large)
  • Bouquet arrangements to customer specification
  • Use of specialised gift-wrapping materials
  • Advising customers on floral selections
  • Maintenance of stock levels
  • Maintenance of a safe, clean, and well-organised working and shopping environment and compliance with all applicable health and safety procedures and safe work practices

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively unsupervised, as well as ability to follow instructions and procedures. A passion for floral retail, creative flair, effective time management skills, strong work ethic, and ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness are essential. Availability to work shifts on Tuesday, Thursday to Saturday, between the hours of 8am and 3pm, with expected hours of 25-30 hours/wk, is preferred.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with flowers and providing excellent customer service.

Floral knowledge and experience is not necessary, but an enthusiasm for learning and growth is highly desirable.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to take initiative when needed.
