About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Pathology Collector to join our team at Healius.
- As a Pathology Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, and preparing specimens for transport and testing.
- You will work closely with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to provide exceptional customer service and quality healthcare.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously in a solo clinic environment.
- A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics are also essential.

About You
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a related field.
- Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
- Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic.
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
Vaccine Requirements
- Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role.
- Other vaccinations based on location may be required.
