Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sport and Health Education Leader to oversee the teaching and learning program, including monitoring and managing the curriculum development and implementation, monitoring student progress and managing a team of teachers and support staff.

About this role: This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to lead our Secondary school’s sport and health education program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the extra-curricular sporting program, including delivery of carnivals and special academy programs.

  • Curriculum oversight: Monitor and manage the curriculum development and implementation, ensuring alignment with the college's Christian mission and vision.">
  • Teaching and learning: Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of all students.">
  • Student welfare: Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of students during extracurricular activities.">
  • Strategic direction and accountability: Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement.">

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Sport and Health Education or related field.">
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching and leadership roles.">
  • Skills: Proven track record of leading teams and achieving outstanding results.">
  • Registration: Registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.">
  • Christian commitment: Active in their own church and wholeheartedly subscribe to the College's Statement of Faith and Staff Code of Conduct.">
