About the Role

Ozcare is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the legal and commercial integrity of customer and supplier contracts to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop, negotiate and drive contractual agreements in a highly quality sensitive manner, with the objective of maximising profit, managing risk and optimising performance.
  • Manage established contracts across Ozcare for goods and services to ensure the delivery of outcomes in line with contract objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as an organisational spokesperson on matters relating to assigned contracts and maintaining liaison between the organisation and the client.
  • Provide dedicated support to major accounts at the negotiation and drafting stage of deals.
  • Promote the organisation in the marketplace as professional in relation to all contract negotiations and dealings.
  • Provide recommendations to line management on legal and financial risk inherent in potential proposals or contracts.
  • Oversee organisational contract development and management activities and enforce organisation principles of integrity and compliance.
  • Manage allocated contract implementation and transition, including management of suppliers.
  • Directly manage relationships with over 30 vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a contract management (or equivalent) role in a procurement environment and a good working knowledge of contract management processes and techniques.
  • Demonstrated investigative and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand complex legal agreements.
  • Ability to understand complex financial analysis and reports.
  • Ability to interpret statutory and case law.
  • Ability to review, develop and implement guidelines and operating processes.
  • Ability to work under limited direction, including experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Provide a current National or Queensland Police Certificate prior to commencement and hold a current Queensland driver's license.
  • Be prepared for intra-state travel as required.
