Regional Operations Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead our team in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of rail haulage services across regional Northwest NSW.

This is a strategic leadership role that requires a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing regional operational strategies, building and maintaining operational relationships with customers, developing leadership capability, and fostering a culture of collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee operational execution in one of our largest and most complex regions.
  • Design and implement regional operational strategies to enhance safety, service performance, and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain operational relationships with customers to support business strategy, growth, and operational success.
  • Develop leadership capability and foster a culture of collaboration across the business.
  • Drive key initiatives to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Proven leadership experience in a complex operational environment.
  • Strategic thinking and a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Experience in managing complex operations, ideally in freight or heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of planned operations and service delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and foster an engaged workforce.
