Maintenance Strategist

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Strategist to join our team at the Zinc Lead Concentrator. As a key member of the Maintenance Support team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies to improve the reliability of the concentrator and filter plant.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in condition monitoring, maintenance management systems, and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and other stakeholders to identify and develop engineering solutions to reduce repetitive failures and issues that adversely affect plant operations.

In this role, you will be required to manage statutory equipment, optimise reliability, eliminate losses, maximise utilisation, and asset life in a safe and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for minor improvement projects around the concentrator, reviewing, developing, and aligning maintenance strategies.

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential for this role, along with a proactive, self-motivated, result-driven individual with excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a multi-disciplinary team and focus on safety through care rather than compliance is crucial.
