Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Elective Surgery Access Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing elective surgery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient journeys.

The role involves strengthening health outcomes through safe and quality clinical practices, supporting designated specialty units, and coordinating patient care pathways. The successful candidate will have a key role in ensuring that patients arrive on the day of their procedure with all relevant documentation completed and a plan of care in place.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced communication skills, being able to effectively communicate, negotiate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, diverse stakeholders, patients and their families.
