The Role: Facilities Management Team Lead

Our Facilities Management team is recognized as a leader in delivering top-tier facilities management to a national retail landlord with centers across Australia. This is an opportunity to leverage your skills and knowledge within Facilities Management and take your career to the next level.

You will support our key clients' assets by ensuring that Knight Frank continues to deliver leading edge Facilities Management services that meet and exceed the expectations of our client through your technical knowledge and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Provide operational guidance, manage and direct efforts to maintain an impeccable level of building presentation.
  • NABERS Ratings: Ensure optimal operation of building plant and equipment to improve NABERS ratings.
  • Technical Advice: Be the contact for technical advice, supporting the property management team and client and tenant customers.
  • Risk Management: Implement, audit, and maintain risk management procedures.
  • Operational Expenditure Budget: Manage Operational expenditure budget preparation, forecasting, and delivery.
  • Australian Standards: Maintain and be fully conversant with all Australian Standards, statutory, and legal requirements directly related to building management service delivery.
  • Operational Efficiency: Provide recommendations to the client and property management team to continually improve operational efficiencies.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, tenants, and service partners.
  • Compliance Targets: Ensure timely delivery of compliance, risk, and sustainability targets and KPIs.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' work experience and demonstrated success in a Facilities Management role within the property/building industry.
  • Excellent presentations, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience supervising and managing staff.
  • A high level of financial aptitude, computer literacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience with HVAC and building controls management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship development skills.
  • Experience in tendering for significant hard and soft services contracts.
  • Experience in project management and delivery.
  • Comprehensive commercial experience and knowledge of industry best practice, relevant codes, and legislative requirements relating to facilities management.
  • Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy and manage competing priorities.
Benefits and Salary

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a generous benefits package, including:
