Early Childhood Education Lead Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take on a key leadership role within our Preschool team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and delivering high-quality educational programs for children aged 4-5.

About the Role:

  • Lead and mentor educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships with one another.
  • Develop and implement learning programs that meet regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care.
  • Create an engaging, safe, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety standards at all times, prioritizing the well-being of both children and staff.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), demonstrating expertise in education theory and practice.
  • Unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia, ensuring eligibility for employment.
  • Previous experience as a lead educator or room leader, showcasing leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, supporting administrative tasks and program planning.
  • A current Working with Children Check, ensuring suitability for working with children.
  • A current approved First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis/Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain.
