About the Role

The Adelaide Central Market is a hub of activity, bringing together people who share a passion for food and cultural experiences.

We are seeking expressions of interest to join our Board as a key contributor to setting the direction for delivering initiatives that benefit customers, traders, and the community.

As a valued member of our Board, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Market remains a world-leading food and produce market with a strong connection to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic decision-making as part of a skills-based Board
  • Help set the direction for delivering initiatives that enhance customer experiences, trader success, and community engagement
  • Support the development of strategies to maintain the Market's reputation as a premier food and produce destination

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in leadership, stakeholder relations, marketing, corporate governance, strategic planning, commercial operations, financial management, risk oversight, and government relations
  • Demonstrated experience in board or director roles, preferably with a focus on food, hospitality, or retail sectors
  • Membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) is highly regarded
