About the RoleThis newly created role will see you bringing together our volunteer programs across Residential Aged Care and Community-based services to create a cohesive approach. Your duties will include:
- Working collaboratively with sites and services to develop and implement a Volunteer strategy and framework
- Developing best practice recruitment, onboarding, engagement and development of volunteers
- Providing advice, assistance and professional support to incorporate evidence and contemporary best practice in the planning, review and evaluation of services and systems with volunteer involvement
- Ensuring that volunteer programs are considered and planned, aligning with our workforce strategy and organisational priorities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
- Demonstrated track record in the development and management of volunteering programs
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary volunteering and workforce planning issues
- Excellent communication and consulting capability
To work in our Aged Care services, you will need:
- A current Working With Children's Check (VIC) or willingness to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights
- A current Police Records Check/NDIS Clearance or be willing to undertake this process
- Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
