A highly skilled Senior Underwriter is sought to join our team in the Property department. As a key member, your focus will be on developing innovative product solutions through customer-centric insights and implementing meticulous risk management strategies across various schemes.The ideal candidate will possess strong relationships with Major Trading Partners, utilize their Portfolio Management knowledge to provide insightful changes across scheme business, and deliver customer-centric insights, innovative product solutions, and meticulous risk management strategies.Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with specific Major Trading Partners, using/developing Portfolio Management knowledge to provide insightful change across scheme business, providing customer-centric insights, innovative product solutions, and meticulous risk management strategies, fostering collective and aligned approaches that respond to the needs of Major Trading Partners and Policyholders, participating in forums across the Property underwriting community, and involvement in ad-hoc projects to add value across the organization.To succeed in this role, you will be an insurance professional with proven Property Underwriting experience at a Senior Underwriter level, demonstrated maturity to manage outcomes of complex risks, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.The successful candidate will also have the ability to plan to handle peak periods smoothly and efficiently, a keen interest in analytics and policy wording critiquing, ability to effectively collaborate and work within a national team located across multiple locations, desire to mentor and guide less experienced underwriters, and interest in learning new skills which may take you down a product management path in the future.
