This 200+ bed hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including acute and critical care, surgical services, intensive care, maternity, and rehabilitation. Our state-of-the-art facilities provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a vibrant and growing community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of cases, including 25% paediatrics and a significant trauma caseload.
  • Provide expert clinical services within the Clinical Services Capability Framework and clinical privileges granted.
  • Collaborate with satellite hospitals and rural sites through Telehealth and in-person support.
  • Contribute to innovative pre-hospital care models, including HITH and GEDI programs.
  • Engage in the development of a new Emergency Department.
  • Enjoy flexible and equitable rostering that balances service needs with academic priorities.
  • Potential involvement in the Regional Aeromedical Retrieval Service.
  • Participate in a successful postgraduate education and training program, including ACEM fellowship and diploma training.

Requirements:

  • Specialist qualifications in Emergency Medicine (FACEM or equivalent).
