Company Overview:

Sustain Recruit, a dynamic E-commerce distributor, seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to fill a 6-month contract with potential for a permanent role. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable inbox, processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and preparing timely payments.

Job Requirements:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Efficiently handle incoming emails, inquiries, and documents related to accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Supplier Invoice Processing: Accurately process supplier invoices following purchase orders and company policies, maintaining compliance with payment deadlines.
  • Reconciliation and Payment Preparation: Regularly reconcile supplier statements and prepare payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Support and Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist with additional projects and tasks as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager or supervisors, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and reconciliation, with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, colleagues, and management, with a collaborative approach to teamwork and problem-solving.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. Sustain Recruit offers competitive compensation and benefits packages to its employees.
