About the Opportunity:

We seek an experienced Early Years Lead Educator who has worked as part of an inclusion support program for this part-time role. The hourly rate is $27.49 for Certificate III qualified educators and $30.07 for Diploma qualified educators (negotiable).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with children to create enjoyable recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
  • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Collaborate with the established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Engage in professional and personal development.
  • Promote the service within the local community, adhering to Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements:
  • Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR an equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months to kindergarten age in a play-based learning environment.
  • Effective workplace communication skills.
