About the Role

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing personal care, and promoting social interaction and engagement among residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and administering medications
  • Promote social interaction and engagement among residents, through activities such as conversation, games, and outings
  • Assist with mobility and transferring residents, as needed
  • Document resident care and progress, according to facility policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, or higher
  • Experience in aged care, or a related field
  • Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to residents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
