Compassionate Support Professionals Wanted in Hervey Bay

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our QLD team in Hervey Bay at Just Better Care.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to people in their own homes. As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred care and assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support.
You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and preferences, and develop individualised care plans that cater to their unique requirements. Your compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills will be essential in building trust and rapport with our customers and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication administration
- Assist with domestic tasks, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Offer social support and transportation, including accompanying customers to appointments and outings
- Support customers in the use of aids and equipment, including walking frames, wheelchairs, and hearing aids
- Monitor customer well-being and report on progress to management
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required
- Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
- Proof of vaccination (where relevant)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Current Federal Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and Working with Children Check
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance
- Smartphone with internet access
- A competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum
