Job Overview

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Intelligence Analyst to support our team in delivering critical defence operations.

This role involves undertaking imagery analysis and advanced stereo imagery exploitation to inform strategic decision-making.

You will work collaboratively with a small, highly technical team to manage geospatial intelligence production processes, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Imagery Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of satellite and aerial imagery to identify relevant features and patterns.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in geospatial intelligence tools and techniques, including advanced stereo imagery exploitation methods.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of geospatial intelligence into defence operations.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of geospatial intelligence production processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Capability Development: Participate in capability development discussions to drive innovation and improvement in geospatial intelligence capabilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Advanced Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field such as geography, spatial science, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in geospatial intelligence tools and software, including ArcGIS and ERDAS Imagine.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
