About the Role:

The Cloud AI Security Operations Manager will lead the development of cloud-based AI security solutions to protect against cyber threats.

Main Responsibilities:

  • AI Model Development:

    • Develop and maintain AI/ML models to detect and respond to cyber threats in cloud environments.

    • Collaborate with data scientists and cybersecurity experts to create innovative AI use cases for cloud security.

    • Improve AI models based on threat intelligence and incident response feedback from various teams.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Serve as the subject matter expert in AI/ML applications for cloud security with a focus on cloud & SaaS.

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced AI/ML models for threat detection and response in cloud environments.

    • Conduct AI security research focusing on defensive capabilities and complex threat detection evaluation activities within cloud infrastructures.

    • Ensure the integration and optimization of AI-driven tools within existing cloud security infrastructure.

  • Liaison and Collaboration:

    • Act as the primary liaison between the Cyber Defence Cloud team and other Cyber Defence teams to enhance threat detection, analysis, and response capabilities.

    • Represent the Cyber Defence Operations team in internal forums, sharing insights and best practices to improve cloud security.

  • Incident Response:

    • Provide expert guidance during security incidents, leveraging AI-driven tools for rapid threat analysis and response and collaborate with the incident response team to enhance detection and mitigation strategies in cloud environments.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty.

  • Extensive experience in cyber defence, with a strong focus on cloud environments and keen interest in AI/ML.

  • Deep technical expertise in cloud security principles and best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional initiatives.
