As a volunteer, you will be doing a variety of tasks such as:

1. welcoming and engaging customers with a friendly smile
2. processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and eftpos payments
3. sorting and pricing donations to create vibrant displays that attract shoppers
4. keeping the shop clean and tidy, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
5. following all shop processes and procedures

A Typical Day in the Shop
In your 4-hour shift (or more if you like), you'll be working together with other volunteers to achieve common goals. Tasks may include but not limited to, customer service, processing transactions, stock maintenance, shop appearance and follow up procedures. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop existing ones within a supportive environment.

Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be at least 15 years old (16 in QLD) and complete a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross). You'll also undergo an Induction into our organisation and Retail program.
