Opportunity Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Geography. We are looking for an academic with expertise in teaching and research in this field.

The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching, research and service activities of the School, develop and deliver foundation and profession-focused units, engage in quality research and scholarly activity, and support students across undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and coordinate units in Geography
  • Conduct research and publish in reputable journals
  • Supervise students at various levels
  • Develop curriculum and courses in Geography
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in Geography or a related field
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to complete one
  • Experience in teaching and supervising students
  • Proven research record and ability to contribute to the School's research program
Senior Lecturer Requirements
  • PhD in Geography or a related field
  • Experience in team leadership and mentoring junior academic staff
  • Ability to develop engaging teaching materials and collaborate with industry partners
