About the Hospital
The hospital is a modern, well-equipped regional referral facility that provides a comprehensive range of services, including acute medical and surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, and diagnostic and allied health services. The hospital has a busy Emergency Department with approximately 18,000 presentations per year, featuring dedicated areas for resuscitation, acute presentations, ambulant and fast-track presentations, pediatrics, mental health assessment, and procedure rooms.
The Role
The position will be fulfilled with a workload that is busy enough to gain exposure to a large variety of cases from all age groups but quiet enough to be encouraged to practice evidence-based medicine. You will be well supported by a team with a good mix of experience and enthusiasm, providing mentoring and support from both junior and senior staff.
Requirements
Currently registered in Australia or eligible for registration in Australia with at least three years post-graduate experience.
Remuneration
As per state award. Remuneration between $140,000-$240,000 dependent on experience.
