Private Clients Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced private clients lawyer to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our practice group, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to our clients in the area of estate litigation and general commercial disputes.

This is a rare opportunity to work with a top-tier law firm and contribute to the success and growth of our Private Clients section. You will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters, including large-scale estate disputes in the Supreme Court of WA and the Court of Appeal.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Estate Litigation: Provide legal advice and representation in estate litigation matters, including contesting wills and probate applications.
  • General Commercial Disputes: Provide legal advice and representation in general commercial disputes, including contract disputes and negligence claims.
  • File Management: Manage files from commencement to completion, including preparing pleadings, attending court hearings, and negotiating settlements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-9 years of experience in estate litigation or general commercial litigation, preferably in a large national law firm or specialist practice.
  • Skills: Excellent technical, analytical, and drafting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Qualifications: Admission to the Bar in Western Australia.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, autonomous, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
