Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our team in Adelaide. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and commissioning ship systems and equipment, including providing input into design, development, and implementation of systems and equipment.

  1. Maintenance and Commissioning: Set up, test, integrate, and commission equipment and systems.
  2. Technical Documentation: Develop and prepare accurate technical documentation, including test procedures and reports.
  3. Expert Technical Services: Provide expert technical services to projects.
  4. Scheduling: Contribute to planning and maintenance of schedules.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician who possesses:

  • A Certificate III or higher Trade Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Water Industry Operations.
  • Significant post-trade experience in a complex industrial or commercial environment servicing chiller, freezer systems, or mechanical systems.
  • Strong experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and multitask simultaneously within a production environment.
