Lead Specialist School Program

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to head the OSHC program in a specialist school setting. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives.

This role involves leading, training, and guiding staff in best practice to deliver high-quality care for every child in our care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing child-focused programs for school-aged children in a specialist school environment.

Maintaining a safe environment for all children, families, and staff is also a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality care programs for children
  • Train and guide staff in best practice
  • Maintain a safe environment for all
  • Provide ongoing support and career development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in training, coaching, and management of a large team
  • Experience and confidence in the disability support and childcare sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Compliance documentation including Employee Working with Children Check, First Aid + CPR Certificate, Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting, and ACECQA approved Diploma level qualification
