About The Role- Direct delivery of psychiatric treatment and care to individuals is a key responsibility of this position.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and well-being is essential for success in this role.
- Providing effective and culturally appropriate patient care requires a deep understanding of individual values, customs, and spiritual beliefs.
- Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) is a necessary qualification for this role.
- A working knowledge of current psychiatric principles and practices is also essential.
- Previous experience in acute mental health nursing is highly desirable.
- Commitment to providing Recovery Oriented service delivery is critical for success in this position.
- Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2022 and its amendments is also required.
