Project Leadership Opportunity

This role involves overseeing multiple projects across various industries and executing project management activities.

The Role
  • Manage and execute project management tasks across projects and industries.
  • Complete assigned project tasks, which include services ranging from project inception to completion using contemporary project management methodology, and oversee tasks assigned to project managers/assistant project managers.
  • Coordinate project programming/scheduling tasks using proprietary tools to the standard required by the project and project director.
  • Ensure all cost control and budgetary requirements are met on assigned projects.
  • Monitor project quality, risk, and compliance, including developing project plans, risk and issue registers, and compliance reporting.
  • Supervise direct reports, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting as needed.
  • Coordinate project/client meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction management, project management, urban and regional planning, architecture, engineering, or property development (or similar), or a trade background.
  • A current Western Australian driver's licence.
  • A minimum of 6 - 8 years of practical experience as a project manager client-side delivering projects within the property and construction industry (or similar).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current project management methodology, including understanding complex systems, compliance, legislation, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering significant projects from inception through to completion and leading teams of project managers and assistant project managers.
  • Significant experience in client relationship building activities and a strong existing network within the industry.
  • Strong software competency in MS suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
