Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Videographer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in creating high-quality video content aligned with Council's brand, while learning from experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent time management skills, and confident communication skills. They will also be enrolled in a course (or equivalent experience) in videography, photography, media production, or a related field, and have hands-on experience with video/photography equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating engaging video content for digital channels
  • Support the Video and Photography Producer in delivering creative projects professionally and on time
  • Maintain and organise production equipment to ensure readiness
  • Help create and update content for Council's digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Stay informed on digital and social media trends to enhance engagement
Requirements
  • Enrolment in a course (or equivalent experience) in videography, photography, media production, or a related field
  • A Class C driver's licence
  • Hands-on experience with video/photography equipment
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and creating content for social media or websites
  • A keen eye for detail, strong time management and confident communication skills
