Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead the implementation of a critical business transformation program within the IT Department.

This newly created role sits within the Line 1 Technology Risk and Compliance section and offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of technology risk management.

  • Lead the risk transformation program in the IT Department.
  • Develop project planning and scheduling activities, ensuring appropriate project reporting is in place to monitor and control implementation delivery.
  • Sponsor workstream owners, action leads, and internal/external partners to ensure a risk-based approach to prioritisation of activity is adopted.
  • Foster collaborative work practices within the TRC section and engage with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Support the enterprise risk transformation program and Enterprise Risk and Compliance Team to ensure risk transformation is embedded across the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a switched-on and progressive project manager with a strong background in business transformation, experience scoping and leading business change programs, and a passion for improving risk culture, capability, and management practices.

  • 10 years + experience in project or implementation management in a business transformation context.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary project and change management methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business transformation programs and initiatives.
  • An understanding of organisation-wide risk and compliance management frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, economics, finance, risk, compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and resolution management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
