Job Overview

We deliver exceptional helicopter services to remote and challenging locations. Our team is a leader in providing support to various industries, including offshore energy, search & rescue, government departments, and maintenance services.

This role is responsible for coordinating and controlling key functions of our Defence Search and Rescue operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing personnel, planning deployments, and coordinating logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roster Management: Plan adequate coverage across all locations, ensuring seamless transitions during deployments, leave, and training activities.
  • Travel Planning: Schedule all travel-related activities efficiently.
  • Deployment Support: Provide critical logistical support under the direction of the Contract Manager, securing essential supplies like fuel and equipment.
  • Equipment Oversight: Manage contract-assigned equipment, including uniforms, harnesses, immersion suits, flight/mission helmets, and other mission-critical gear.
  • Personnel Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, tracking issued equipment to ensure it's maintained and returned according to company procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in operations coordination, logistics, or scheduling within aviation, defence, or similar high-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with crew rostering, travel planning, and deployment logistics.
  • Experience managing equipment and supplies, preferably in remote or challenging locations.
  • Prior exposure to aviation support operations or contract-based service delivery is highly desirable.
Essential Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/travel management systems.
  • High attention to detail in tracking equipment and managing personnel movements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
