We are seeking a skilled professional to operate and program CNC machines for producing high-quality components.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality seals and components from materials such as polyurethane, rubber, and plastics.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality products
  • Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and tolerances
  • Collaborating with design engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines and ensuring tools and equipment are in excellent working condition

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a machinist, with proficiency in operating CNC and manual machines
  • Strong understanding of machining polyurethane, rubber, and plastics is desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Relevant trade qualifications in machining or engineering (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
