Experience the thrill of working with glass as a skilled operator in a fast-paced production environment. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team at our Cranbourne site, where you will be responsible for unloading containers, loading product for customer orders and various other warehousing activities such as mobile plant operation, stocktaking, packing and unpacking materials and housekeeping.

Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position that requires a hands-on, self-motivated person with experience in the glass industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and manufacturing processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating overhead gantry cranes to unload and load shipping containers and trucks
  • Loading glass packs onto frames for customer orders
  • Stocktaking product and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Performing regular housekeeping tasks to ensure a high level of safety and efficiency in the workplace
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Crane operator experience using remote gantry cranes
  • Previous experience within the glass industry
  • A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to understand and follow detailed work schedules
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Safety consciousness and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
