Looking for a highly skilled Video Producer to create engaging, distinctive videos about Melbourne city life by combining motion graphics and original video content.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in working on professional-quality scripted and unscripted video, with a strong portfolio of previous work. A bachelor's degree or similar in Film, Design, Communication or related field is also required.

We're looking for someone who is confident in writing video copy and has social media content creation skills, including experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Media Encoder. Ability to work independently with a team and willingness to work outside office hours when necessary are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Shoot experiential videos throughout the city each week, visiting new places and events.
  • Edit a wide range of social media videos, from unscripted and scripted to branded content.
  • Assemble quick edits and experiment with different versions, exploring multiple directions.
  • Create polished final edits with colouring, sound mix and captions for publication on social channels.
  • Identify exciting potential video/photo topics and arrange shoots.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in scripted and unscripted video production.
  • Bachelor's degree or similar in Film, Design, Communication or related field.
  • Confidence in writing video copy and social media content creation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a team and willingness to work outside office hours when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Media Encoder.
  • Comfortable creating video and still imagery using digital cameras.
  • Basic Motion graphics and titling experience.
