Key Role in Corporate Tax Services

We are seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager to join our Corporate Tax Division and contribute to the continued growth of our specialist tax services. As a key conduit between the tax team, clients, and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing complex corporate tax matters while leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • Manage and review corporate income tax compliance, including income tax returns, tax consolidations, and overseeing lodgement programs.
  • Oversee and review Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance, including return preparation and ad hoc advisory work.
  • Provide expert tax advisory on corporate restructures, international tax matters, and employee share schemes.
  • Review tax effect accounting calculations and prepare tax notes for our listed and large private client base.
  • Lead client engagements and coordinate teams to ensure work is delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and monitor billings, manage WIP, and support team profitability and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You are degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business or other relevant qualification.
  • You have completed a CA/CPA qualification.
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in corporate tax within a professional services environment.
  • You are technically proficient and interested in learning to keep up to date with Australian corporate tax legislation, ATO guidance, and international tax developments.
  • You have experience with FBT, tax effect accounting under AASB 112, tax notes, employee share schemes, and cross-border tax planning.
  • You demonstrate strong judgement, critical thinking, and analytical skills to deliver technically sound outcomes.
  • You are an effective communicator and team leader with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate stakeholders to meet deadlines.
