Job Title: Apprentice Telecommunications Technician

Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology

This is an excellent entry point for someone who enjoys problem-solving, hands-on work and building a long-term technical career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installing communications, security and data cabling to Australian standards e.g. AS/CA S009
  • Support the commissioning of CCTV access control alarm and intercom systems
  • Learn to terminate test and certify copper and fibre-optic cabling
  • Follow WHS procedures use PPE correctly and maintain tidy safe sites
  • Record materials and work completed prepare tools parts and job documentation
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (for apprenticeship funding)
  • Current driver's licence (P-plate minimum) and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (security-sensitive environments)
