Job Opportunity

The role of Acting Specialist Supervisor for Clinical Support Services team is now available. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality imaging services for CT radiological diagnosis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions and modify techniques to achieve acceptable diagnostic outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate recording and entry of patient and examination data into the Radiology Management System.
  • Allocate and determine work priorities for the CT medical imaging team to meet operational standards.
  • Contribute to effective and coordinated CT service by assisting the Head Radiographer with physical and human resource management.
  • Provide complex medical imaging examinations using specialised equipment with high professional independence.
  • Continuously update specialist knowledge, develop professional knowledge of other radiographers, and maintain professional CT standards.
  • Pursue routine research programs and assist in coordinating CT quality assurance programs.

Requirements:

  • Licence under the Radiation Protection and Control Act SA (1982)
  • Registration as a Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Experience in performing complex CT imaging procedures
  • Ability to assess and select clinical and technical examination requirements according to client condition

Working Conditions:
