About the Role

We are seeking a professional to provide timely, compliant and accurate reporting as part of our finance team. This role will support various divisions with project and management accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for various divisions ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Full profit & loss review including variance analysis for each profit & cost centre.
  • KPI reporting and calculations.
  • Lead role in inventory management including stocktakes, open/closed work orders, negative stock and stock turns.
  • Balancesheet reconciliations.
  • Manipulate and analyse raw data.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Preparation of various weekly management reports.
  • Proactively develop process improvements.
  • Proactively develop controls or processes that will enhance the reliability of costing data.
  • Undertake all other reasonable tasks and duties within your skill and ability as directed.

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced excel skills and report development.
  • Knowledge of a large ERP system.
  • Ability to adapt to change and continuous improvement.
  • Must be a hands-on person willing to get involved with all aspects of the business.
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365 Suite.
  • High level of organisation skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and various deadlines.
  • Well-developed communication negotiation and interpersonal skills for liaising with Managers and external customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent problem solver and attention to detail.
  • Formal qualifications in Accounting Business Studies or similar desirable.
  • Previous exposure to Pronto ERP system desirable.
  • At least 3 years experience in a costing role in a manufacturing and production environment desirable.
