Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines
  • Program and schedule construction activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays
  • Procure materials and resources, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best deals
  • Coordinate diverse construction teams, including site managers, laborers, and subcontractors
  • Oversee site managers, providing guidance and support to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Liaise with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Report to the General Manager, providing regular updates on project progress and any issues that may arise
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time
  • Recruitment of staff for your team, selecting and training personnel to ensure the success of your projects
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the landscape construction industry
  • Experience working for a landscape contractor, with a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures
  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Horticulture (required)
  • Diploma of Project Management (desired)
  • Driver's license, with a clean driving record
