Senior Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled data professional to join our analytics team. As a key member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with internal teams and collaborate with other departments to embed data insights in our products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, research, and problem-solving, as well as strong Python skills, including writing reusable functions and scripts, debugging and troubleshooting code, and performing data cleaning, processing, and analysis. You will also have basic SQL experience, comfortable with joins and subqueries, and familiarity with data visualization principles and tools like Tableau.

You will be responsible for researching new technologies and trends in their adoption and disruption of industries, using critical problem-solving to distinguish valuable data, derive insights, and solve the right problems. You will update our models using research, prepare insights that wow technical and non-technical users, and ensure the data is trustworthy through rigorous quality control and documentation.

The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Product Managers, Designers, Sales, and Clients, to drive significant customer value through the expansion of our workforce IP. You will also contribute to the development of innovative products and services that enhance our capabilities and create real-life impact.

We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about data-driven decision-making and has a strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and software development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching new technologies and trends in their adoption and disruption of industries.

  • Updating our models using research, preparing insights that wow technical and non-technical users, and ensuring the data is trustworthy through rigorous quality control and documentation.

  • Contributing to the development of innovative products and services that enhance our capabilities and create real-life impact.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data analysis (at least 2 years), research, and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong Python skills, including writing reusable functions and scripts, debugging and troubleshooting code, and performing data cleaning, processing, and analysis.
  • Basic SQL experience, comfortable with joins and subqueries.
  • Familiarity with data visualization principles and tools like Tableau.
  • Interest in Generative AI and willingness to learn and experiment with how to leverage it to improve and scale our processes.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, iterating on feedback, and continuous improvement.
