About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce high-quality work in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
* Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical and electrical systems in heavy passenger vehicles.
* Utilize specialized tools and equipment for diagnostics, welding, and vehicle repairs.
* Mentor and coach less experienced team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and WHS procedures, and participate in training and safety practices.

Requirements

* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (desirable)
* Experience working on buses and coaches (desirable)
* Experience with diesel and electric vehicles
* Strong safety awareness and ability to work effectively within a team
* Australian working rights
