We are an alternative to mass-produced fashion, with a commitment to making high-quality, long-lasting products that are cherished by our customers. Our products are meticulously designed and made in Australia, with a focus on refined, detailed, and romantic designs that combine form and function.

We have three immaculate, light-filled Kuwaii stores located in Brunswick, Fitzroy, and Melbourne's Cathedral Arcade, at the foot of the iconic Nicholas Building. About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, committed, and creative Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist to join our small and dedicated team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for communicating the overall visual message of Kuwaii to our customers through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and in-store promotions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive visual brand strategy that aligns with our brand values and aesthetic
  • Creating engaging content for social media, email marketing, and in-store promotions, including graphics, videos, and written copy
  • Collaborating with our design team to develop and implement new product designs and packaging
  • Managing and maintaining our brand's online presence, including our website and social media channels
  • Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and making recommendations for improvement
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a graphic design or marketing role
  • A degree or relevant qualification in graphic design or a related field
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of web design principles and HTML
  • Experience with social media marketing and email marketing software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
