Position Summary
We are currently in search of a Full-Time Chief Engineer to oversee our maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary liaison for all maintenance activities and lead a skilled team of engineers in ensuring the highest standards of aircraft serviceability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee aircraft maintenance operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to engineering staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges effectively.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance practices and regulatory standards.
- Strong leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to work proactively and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Essential Certifications
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations.
- Possession of a CASA Part 66 B1 or B2 licence.
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team towards achieving operational goals.
