The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing Arjo equipment as well as a range of third-party items for Arjo customers within the broader aged care and acute care healthcare environments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and test Arjo's range of products (medical equipment) as well as a range of related third-party equipment.
  • Conduct routine scheduled servicing (Preventative) and breakdown support (Reactive).
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames.
  • Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired in Arjo's service ERP system.
  • Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately in Arjo's service ERP system.
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy.

Requirements
  • Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude.
  • 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service related sector.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet company performance targets/KPIs.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well presented, confident, and exhibit sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments.
  • The ability to understand the customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment.
  • Computer literacy; iPad use familiarity will be advantageous.
  • The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment.
  • A current QLD driver's licence (Class C) is essential.
  • Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you may be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a current influenza vaccination, in order to enter customers premises.
