We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Approvals Lead to join our Sydney office. This role will drive growth and business development in our renewable energy approvals offering, with an initial focus on NSW.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging existing client relationships and building new ones to secure environment and approvals work from key clients, particularly in the energy sector.
  • Collaborating with market and account leaders to bring the best of Mott MacDonald to our clients.
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver environmental impact assessments for major infrastructure projects in energy and other sectors.
  • Managing approvals projects across the project lifecycle from proposal through to delivery.

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus group bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

A relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering, planning or similar is required, along with experience in impact assessment or regulatory approvals for energy projects and knowledge of State and Commonwealth legislation and regulations.
