Pastoral Care Director

As a key member of our school community, the Pastoral Care Director plays a vital role in supporting the school's mission by leading pastoral practices for student welfare.

  • Develop and implement effective pastoral care programs that promote Gospel values and align with the school's ethos.
  • Lead a team of teachers involved in student pastoral care, providing guidance and support for best practice.
  • Facilitate induction processes for new staff within your area of responsibility, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality pastoral care.

Maintain a holistic view of student development, monitoring their academic performance, social interactions, spiritual growth, and physical health. Address concerns through targeted measures, promoting a safe and respectful environment.

Cultivate strong partnerships among staff focused on student welfare, fostering collaboration and coordinating activities that align with the school's values.

Manage student behavior effectively, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Organize and oversee pastoral activities such as camps, retreats, and other events that enhance the informal curriculum, working closely with colleagues as needed.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in student care and welfare, sharing insights to enhance staff learning.

Effectively manage resources within your area of responsibility, including budget planning and financial management.
