Purchasing Manager

This role offers the chance to take ownership of day-to-day buying, optimise inventory and lead supplier performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who can drive cost savings and improvements, monitor spend and deliver operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have clear communication skills, demonstrated negotiation capability and strong commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and manage supplier relationships with a focus on price, quality and delivery.
  • Sourcing Events and Negotiation: Run sourcing events, negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts.
  • Cost Savings and Improvements: Monitor spend, identify cost saving opportunities and deliver improvements.
  • Inventory Planning and Control: Plan and control inventory in line with operational requirements.
  • Purchase Order Tracking: Track purchase orders, resolve shortages and expedite where required.
  • Supplier Performance Reporting: Report on supplier performance, inventory health and purchasing metrics.
  • Data Accuracy and Maintenance: Maintain accurate records and data in the ERP and purchasing systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement across purchasing policies and workflows.

This role requires collaboration with operations and leadership to support business growth initiatives.
