Job Title: Corporate Roving Compliance Trainer

About the Role:

This key position will ensure that training needs are met to the required standards, aligned to our organisation's objectives. This is a site-based role, providing support to meet the requirements outlined in our Training Framework through effective training and assessment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote, review, implement and support our Training System that provides direction for employee training.
  • Facilitate training and assessment (Nationally Recognised Training, VOC, Familiarisations, Site based training presentations etc.) to meet site needs in accordance with our Training System.
  • Develop training packages to meet business needs.
  • Build key relationships with site management teams to ensure their training needs are met.
  • Promote and support our Training Standards and Processes.
  • Provide support and resource capabilities to the Training Supervisor in regards to training and assessment facilitation.
  • Upload completed training documentation into our Learning Management System.
  • Proactively assist sites in achieving their training and compliance needs.
  • Lead by example in the field to ensure best practices are demonstrated and adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment - TAE40116 (mandatory).
  • 5 years experience in the Resources sector.
  • preferably construction or major projects.
  • 2 or more-year experience in a Trainer/Assessor Role.
  • A range of Nationally Recognised Competencies and High Risk Work Licences relevant to the Mining Industry and in particular the construction/major project environment.
  • Training Management System experience (Learning Management System desirable).
  • Experience in using training tools such as Training Needs Analysis.
  • Valid C Class driver's licence.
  • Diploma of Training (desirable).
