We are seeking a seasoned Data Solutions Architect to join our team at Whizdom Recruitment in Sydney. As a key member of our data solutions practice, you will design, develop, and support advanced data solutions across industries.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead technical aspects of data projects, guiding data engineers and testers. This role involves creating detailed solution designs, developing end-to-end data pipelines, and working on batch and near real-time data flows. We require expertise in Big Data, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), NoSQL databases (HBase), and streaming technologies (Kafka).

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, Develop, test and support future-ready data solutions for customers across industry verticals
  • Produce Detailed Solution Design and support data engineers and testers as a technical lead in a data project
  • Develop, test and support end-to-end batch and near real-time data flows/pipelines

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years in solution design, tech leadership, or development in IT consulting, ideally with Banking/FSS experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Big Data/Data Lake services in cloud and on-premise
  • Expertise in industry best practices, design patterns, and pioneering technical solutions across platforms
  • Advanced proficiency with NoSQL databases (HBase) and real-time data pipelines (Kafka)
  • Deep understanding of data modeling (ER, 3NF, Dimensional Modeling) and Data Mesh Architecture
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM) and modern data tools

Benefits:
